I had so much fun modelling over 30 different outfits for Primark!

And it wasn’t even a dedicated adaptive shoot, as I also modelled many outfits that hid my leg:

Primark are simply a brand who want to represent everyone and be inclusive of everything. Booking an amputee model with a prosthetic leg is quite a big statement, unless it’s not a statement at all.

I simply got booked because I’m a model and I appear on the Primark website alongside all the other models, and this is exactly how it should be done. Primark are getting it right. This is how inclusive fashion works.

The day was a total blast and the people were so much fun. A big shoutout to Kirsty McNulty the photographer, Victoria Mercer the makeup artist, who also made my hair look really cool, Lucy Hallard the Stylist and Nick Simpson the creative director.

Things I must remember for next time, just like I always wear my best knickers to shoots, I need to remember to wear my best little leg liner! I was on auto pilot that morning and just yanked on my leg, not quite realising my bottom… and my slightly raggidy prosthetic leg liner would soon be all over the internet. Some careful hand placement hid the rip though!

All of the outfits I modelled were totally gorgeous and I’ll definitely be taking some of the looks away with me next week to Rhodes. There are too many to post here but these shots give you a flavour of the fashion I was lucky enough to model:
I am so grateful to be represented by ZBD Talent, the world’s leading inclusive talent agency who are helping brands create work that is genuinely inclusive. Primark got it right with this shoot and I am beyond honoured to have been selected as one of their models.
